Guy goes to his country club for his weekly game of golf but instead of the usual caddy, he is met by a robot. Outraged, he demands an answer from the manager. He explains that these robots are incredible and everyone that tries it always insists on having it the next time. He tells him they read distance and slopes, pick the right club, read the green, etc… Guy gives it a try and plays the best round he’s ever had. He rushes back next week only to find the robots are gone. He furiously demands an answer from the manager who explains that, while they were great, people were complaining about the glare from the sun reflecting off the silver. Guy says that’s the dumbest thing he’s ever heard and asked if anyone had thought to simply paint them black. The manager said they tried that but 3 called in sick the next day and 2 robbed the pro shop.
